Ocean Hills Country Club is a Private 18 hole executive length golf course located in Oceanside, California, just 4 miles from the Pacific Ocean, at the north end of San Diego County
The course is an amenity of The Ocean Hills Country Club community, a 1,600 unit community located on 350 acres. The Mediterranean style community has red-tiled roofs and bougainvillea-covered white stucco walled homes and buildings.
The course opened for play in 1985, along with the first phase of the community.
Par for the course is 55. From the back tees the, course plays to 2,138 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 1,904 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 14, a par-4 that plays to 252 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 70 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 8, a 175 yard par-3 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 3, a 70 yard par-3.
Green fees are not collected because playing the course is included with the members' association dues. Holes are very short and fairly simple. There are a few hills and plenty of sand bunkers that come into play throughout the course.
#14 is the only par-4 and measures 252 yards. All the other holes are par-3s.

This is a very challenging course for the short game only. Isn't this the game? Greens are soft and true and in excellent condition. Unfortunately it is private and not available to the public.
